Time to move my journal history on a bit I think, it's been a while. So, what's the deal?
Well, my photography seems to be a bit on a hiatus at the moment, and nothing meaningful seems to be happening, but hopefully that will pick up soon, so no news there I’m afraid, which is a little bit hopeless for a photography profile!
However, I’ve not been idle, and I have been doing other things, just not photographic! If, dear reader, you've managed to make it past the first page of my gallery you will have noticed a few aviation related images, taken mostly during my time spent with an organisation called Delta Jets, who, at the time specialised in the maintenance and operation of British classic military jets. Here I am during those days
Long story short, (as I'm sure you'd rather be doing something else by this point), Delta Jets ceased operating a while ago, and the remnants morphed into a new outfit called C2 Aviation, which continued with the maintenance and operation of classic military jets, and so, it was to this "new" operation that I re-joined at the back end of 2013. C2 Aviation formed as a company in their own right, but also to support the classic jets of Midair Squadron, so it's a kind of split set up, the intricate details and subtle nuances of which I won't bore you with here. So after a 4 year absence, I'm back on the spanners again at weekends working alongside some of my old mates from the Delta Jets days, getting to hear the sweet sound of jet engines, and soaking up the sublime smell of jet fuel and hydraulics! C2 Aviation and Midair Squadron can be found here for those of a curious disposition:
So that's pretty much where I'm at so far, the heady days of the success of my Bat image have long gone, and things here have calmed back down to a small trickle of traffic through my DA profile. Hopefully I can raise my photographic game again very soon!
Thanks to all those that do stop by here and leave a message, I really do appreciate it so much! Happy shooting!
